Monkey Paw

One of the 7 cursed possessions in the game. Grants wishes at the cost of negative effects, and can only be used a limited number of times.

How it works

The Monkey Paw is one of the 7 cursed possessions that can appear in the game.

Number of wishes: Depends on the difficulty multiplier:

x0 – x1.99: 5 wishes
x2 – x2.99: 4 wishes
x3 or higher: 3 wishes

Usage: It can only be used inside the investigation area. When a wish is granted, a finger curls; once all fingers are curled, it becomes unusable.

Side effects: Each wish causes a negative effect. The player who makes a wish may suffer significant vision loss (near blindness). Reviving a player via a wish causes them to lose 15% sanity.

Voice recognition: It can be accidentally triggered by voice while held, even without push-to-talk pressed (due to potential bugs).

Tip: It is not necessary to find the wish labels in Sunny Meadows to use them, but each specific wish can only be used once per contract.
