The Aswang has a base speed of 1.53 m/s during hunts, up to 2.53 m/s. Its line-of-sight acceleration is extremely high: it takes about 8.67 seconds to reach max speed, compared to about 13 seconds for a standard entity.
The Aswang instantly stops hunting if it reaches a player in an available OFFICIAL hiding spot, and cannot kill them even if it detects them entering the hiding spot.
If a hunt ends this way, the Aswang has a 100% chance of returning to that location on the next hunt.
